The Eagle Times and its parent company, Twin-State Valley Media, are launching a series of podcasts on the 2008 New Hampshire primary. The eyes of the nation will be on New Hampshire as people vote for candidates in the Republican and Democratic primaries early next year. Voters have a long tradition of being very well informed on the candidates and the issues. We hope this project will help them get an even better understanding of the candidates and issues in the race. To launch our series, our host, the author and Reading, VT resident, Sarwar Kashmeri, will talk to State Sen. Peter Burling, D-Cornish, and State Sen. Robert Odell, R-Lempster, about the history of the primary and its special importance this year. Then we will endeavor to interview all of the candidates for president in the Republican and Democratic primaries. The podcasts will be posted as soon as we interview the candidates.
